Hitchcock Meets Python In ‘39 Steps’

The 39 Steps began life in 1915 as a novel by John Buchan, and grew into the 1935 film noir by Alfred Hitchcock. Now it’s got a Monty Python attitude, with some improv too: it’s a play, a tongue-in-cheek comedy that hasn’t lost its mystery, with some offbeat characters and subtle references to Hitchcock films that will challenge his most discerning fans.
