The Oakland County Pioneer and Historical Society will hold its third annual A Grande Night to Remember, from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1. The theme for this year's fundraiser is "Characters in Time," with guests encouraged to dress as a favorite historical character. The society is hoping to raise between $4,000 to $6,000 which will be used for operating expenses.
