A 227-unit apartment community in Highlands Ranch has sold for $91.25 million, based on public records filed with Douglas County. The five-building Aventine Littleton Apartments, 2503 Primo Road, was sold by Century Living, the multifamily division of homebuilders Century Communities, to Chicago-based real estate firm Equity Residential, according to a Tuesday news release by CBRE. Terrance Hunt, Shane Ozment, Chris Hart and Brad Schlafer of CBRE represented the seller. “This transaction aligns with the ongoing trend of institutional investors shifting their focus away from urban assets and towards high-end properties in desirable suburban locations,” said Terrance Hunt, who is vice chairman of CBRE’s Colorado office. Century Living developed the apartments, which were completed in phases between 2023 and 2024. The brand-new apartment community offers a variety of one-, two- and three-bedroom units with an average size of 1,028 square feet.
