Stories Related to Hidden Historic Gems Uncovered During Building Rehab In Downtown Pontiac

A group of developers are currently renovating 29 North Saginaw St. in downtown Pontiac. The 30,000 square-foot, three-floor building was erected in 1865, once the home of Enggass Jewelry Co. Decades of development covered up the building's original craftsmanship, such as hand-laid black and white marble flooring and brick walls hidden under cedar siding.
