A Pittsburgh-based real estate investment firm arranged $170 million in financing for a newly completed 50-story apartment tower in Jersey City, N.J. HFF Inc. worked on behalf of Ironstate Development and Panepinto Properties to secure the 10-year, fixed-rate loan for 70 Columbus through Northwestern Mutual Real Estate. Loan proceeds were used to replace existing construction financing, HFF (NYSE:HF) said. The 545-unit building was designed by Gwathmey, Siegel, Kaufman and Associated Architects.
