Two and a half years into Meg Whitman's tenure as chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard Co., her turnaround effort is still floundering. HP is headed for a third straight annual sales decline amid lackluster demand for its PCs, printers and servers. Makers of corporate computer systems are facing weaker demand as companies use software tools via the Internet, while providers of such cloud services are building their own equipment.
