Here’s A Sneak Peek At What New Bridges Over The New River Could Look Like

Broward County’s consultant has released designs that could give a sneak peek what future bridges over the New River looks like. The bridges, that could be built to accommodate both a commuter rail system and marine traffic in Fort Lauderdale, were inspired from “wave forms, fishhooks, ripples on the surface, sea glass, and even caustic shadows projected onto the river and sea floor below,” according to the consultant’s report. “Sea Glass” Design Concept: Broward County's consultant has released designs that could give a sneak peek what future bridges over the New River looks like.
