We don't really do a lot of obituary posts on here, but it seems wrong to let the death of 100-year old Henry Kissinger pass without at least acknowledging the sins of his youth. I'm shedding no tears for the man who backed Pinochet's bloody coup (and bloodier reign in Chile) and carpet bombed Cambodia, but he was certainly one of the undeniably prominent figures of the 20th century. Traditional outlets like the New York Times and Washington Post are paying tribute in traditional ways by whitewashing all the blood on his hands.
