PAXTON — A mobile home in Paxton sustained minor damage Thursday morning when it caught fire as a space heater was being used to thaw frozen water lines underneath it. Paxton Fire Chief Denny Kingren said 10 firefighters and two fire trucks responded around 11 a.m. to the fire at 10 Weaver Court on Paxton's northeast side. read more
