Under normal conditions I Heart Dogs in Warren is able to shelter its rescue dogs (and some cats) comfortably, but the past few days have not been normal."When the temperature soars, as it did, the shelter becomes extremely hot," said Mary Kamp-Roy, former Warren councilwoman and volunteer with the nonprofit working to rescue, rehabilitate and find homes for dogs while also providing a haven for these pets and others owned by domestic violence survivors.
