A 46-year-old Harvard woman pleaded guilty on Wednesday to delivering drugs to a man who later died of an overdose. Tiera Tracy entered a blind guilty plea Wednesday to delivery of a controlled substance – a felony typically punishable by four to 15 years in prison. The McHenry County State's Attorney's Office did not offer Tracy a specific sentence in exchange for her guilty plea, however they did dismiss additional charges including drug-induced homicide and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance charges. If the case had gone to trial and Tracy were convicted of the most serious charge, which is drug-induced homicide, she could have faced between six and 30 years in prison.
