A 16-year-old Harvard Community Unit School District 50 student may face criminal charges for allegedly threatening a teacher with a box cutter, Harvard police said Wednesday. Police responded about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday to Harvard High School, 1103 N. Jefferson St., for a report of a student threatening a staff member, according to a news release from the Harvard Police Department. Officers discovered that the student threatened a teacher with a box cutter and threatened to harm the teacher and a member of the teacher's family.
