Nancy Persons Landmark News Services GREAT FALLS – The July 4 holiday quickly turned unnerving for a Great Falls Police officer when he was dispatched to an assault call on Seaboard Street. Great Falls Police Chief Steven Rice said Maj. Scott Case was dispatched after a juvenile called 911 and said he was inside a house where his mother had been assaulted. Upon arrival, Case saw the suspect running out of the door and into the yard, wearing minimal clothing, upper body armor and carrying what appeared to be an assault rifle.
