BERLIN (AP) — Hamburger SV drew 1-1 at Greuther Fuerth on Sunday and needed the away goals rule to escape its first ever Bundesliga relegation. After a scoreless first leg in their relegation playoff on Thursday, Pierre-Michel Lasogga headed Hamburg ahead on aggregate in the 14th minute. Fuerth, the third-placed finisher in the second division, equalized through Stephan Fuerstner in the 59th to ensure a frenetic finale. The home side pushed hard for the goal that would have secured promotion at Hamburg's expense, only to be thwarted by goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobny.
