An Australian gold-mining company is now the new owner of Haile Gold Mine in Lancaster County. OceanaGold bought Romarco Minerals Inc., which owned Haile Gold Mine, in an $856 million deal that closed Oct. 1. The purchase brings OceanaGold its only U.S. gold mine site. Diane Garrett, the former CEO of Romarco, gets a seat on the OceanaGold board of directors in Australia.
