Green Mountain Falls Woman Killed In Motorcycle Wreck

A woman from Green Mountain Falls died Saturday in a Chaffee County wreck, the Colorado State Patrol said. The crash happened just after 1 p.m. on Highway 285, north of Poncha Springs, troopers said. A Harley Davidson ridden by Donald Vstecka, 70, and a 57-year-old woman whose name hasn't been released, was headed south on the highway when it swerved to avoid an Mistubishi SUV that pulled onto the highway at a crossing. "Both the driver and passenger of the Harley Davidson were ejected and came to rest in the southbound lane of Colorado 285," troopers said. The passenger on the motorcycle died at the scene, troopers said.
