A police officer in Greeley fired at a suspect who pointed a gun at them, authorities said Thursday. The suspect ran off and is at large. The police shooting happened about 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of 6tha Street, according to a 19th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team news release. The officer was in the are checking a report of “suspicious activity” when an encounter took place.
