Grand Rapids Conducting Routine Tests For Lead In Water

GRAND RAPIDS >> Grand Rapids is letting residents know that ongoing testing for the possibility of lead in its drinking water is part of a routine process.The city says Wednesday that this summer's testing to measure 2016 levels is part of state and federal requirements.The last round of testing in 2013 showed that lead in the Grand Rapids water system was at an all-time low.
