Grand Jury Didn't Hear Witnesses In Troy Fatal Police Shooting

Two civilians who witnessed the fatal shooting of a DWI suspect by a Troy police sergeant were not called to testify before a Rensselaer County grand jury that cleared the officer of wrongdoing last week, according to a person briefed on the investigation. A second witness, who lives in Cohoes and recently took a civil service exam to become a police officer, allegedly took cellphone video of at least part of the incident and believes Sgt.
