Gop: Offsetting Cuts Must Cover Payroll Tax Relief

Fox News host Shannon Bream challenged Vice President-elect J. D. Vance not to "be divisive" during an interview about the California wildfires. "I want to talk to you about the fire situation in California, because your administration will be coming in, taking over the reins as the feds are trying to meet that, along with many other emergency situations they have going on," Bream told Vance during an interview on Fox News Sunday. "Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, has written to President Trump saying, let's not be divisive right now.

Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) lashed out at Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) because the federal government pays for 35% of his state's revenue, one of the highest rates in the nation. According to an analysis from personal finance company WalletHub, "South Carolina residents receive a remarkable return on their taxes paid to the federal government." WalletHub found South Carolina was the 6th highest ranking for state residents' dependency on the federal government.

CBS News host Margaret Brennan pressed Sen. John John Barrasso (R-WY) about whether he would vote to confirm former Fox News host Pete Hegseth as defense secretary in light of sexual assault allegations against him. During a Sunday interview on Face the Nation, Brennan asked Barrasso if Hegseth had the qualities needed to run the Pentagon under President-elect Donald Trump. "Well, he certainly has the qualities that we need to lead the Pentagon," the senator insisted.

Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy slammed former First Lady Laura Bush after she declined to shake President-elect Donald Trump's hand at former President Jimmy Carter's funeral. During Sunday's Fox & Friends broadcast, host co-host Charlie Hurt noted that former Vice President Mike Pence had congratulated Trump on his 2020 victory at the funeral. Capos-Duffy pointed out that the funeral also marked the anniversary of the death of former First Lady Melania Trump's mother. "And I just thought it was so dignified the way she carried herself," Campos-Duffy opined.

Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom isn't taking anyone's shit as his state is enduring catastrophic fires. Newsom is also facing fire from other directions, solely for political reasons. There's the incoming trash monster who bashes Democrats daily to divide our country further. Donald has continued calling the California Governor "Newscum" instead of offering help.

Vice President-elect J. D. Vance reminded officials in Greenland that the U. S. military maintained troops in the autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark. During an interview on Fox News Sunday, host Shannon Bream asked Vance about Trump refusing to rule out the use of military force to take possession of Greenland. "What's the deal with Greenland and the Panama Canal?" Bream wondered.
