Now it’s cool for Girl Scouts to peddle their seasonal treats outside marijuana dispensaries in Colorado. No, the popular marijuana strain formerly known as “Girl Scout Cookies” isn’t returning to its trademark infringing roots. Instead, real Girl Scouts will be allowed to sell real Thin Mints, Samoas and Tagalongs outside stores that were previously off limits. Girl Scouts of Colorado updated their policy for the 2018 cookie season to treat “adult-oriented” businesses such as marijuana dispensaries the same as any other business, council spokesperson AnneMarie Harper told The Cannabist.
