Stories Related to German Metals Recycler Bringing 35 Jobs To Spartanburg County

German metals recycler MAIREC announced Tuesday it will invest $4.6 million to establish a 50,800-square-foot facility in Spartanburg County and create 35 jobs over the next five years. The company, which specializes in the recovery of high-value rare metals from recycled goods, said it has leased the building formerly occupied by CR Brands at 230 Old Converse Road. MAIREC said in a statement the facility is expected to be fully operational in September. Hiring will begin in August. Check GoUpstate.com later for more on this story.
