A Georgia man was struck and killed Friday night while walking across the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near the Emerson Street Exit in Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Harold Martin, 53, of Brunswick was walking away from a disabled vehicle when he was hit by a car driven by Teresa Markarian, 59, of Fernandina Beach, shortly before 9:30 p.m.
