Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner acknowledged Thursday that his department "expressed concern" to Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) that a provision concerning bonuses in the stimulus bill could prompt lawsuits from workers at bailed-out companies—a measure at the heart of this week’s AIG bonus controversy. Already under fire for his handling of the issue, Geithner said Treasury officials spoke with Dodd about the measure.
