The last time Democrats campaigned in South Georgia was with Bill Clinton and Al Gore. (As you might remember, they won the election.) So it's historic to see Kamala Harris and Tim Walz going where few Democrats have gone before. The Harris/Walz camp has some really smart advisers. Living in Georgia, I know the South Georgia demographic, lots of small towns with low/middle class voters who will help carry the state.

Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dave McCormick doesn't actually live here. (He's a billionaire who flies in on his private jet.) So you can imagine how Bob Casey's campaign reacted after his X account confused Philadelphia, Mississippi with Pennsylvania’s biggest city. Via The Hill: McCormick’s X account shared a clip of a news report from a local Mississippi news station reporting on a shooting that police said was carried out by an alleged gang member from El Salvador.

Right-wing extremism is exactly what Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders must have wanted when she appointed former state Rep. Jason Rapert to the Arkansas state library board. And that’s what she got. Right Wing Watch reported that he has been “regularly lashing out at his fellow board members for refusing to support his far-right agenda and complaining that he’s been experiencing a ‘hostile work environment’ because he is ‘a Christian white male.’” Pobrecito! I don’t know where in the Bible, the Constitution or the library board bylaws it says torturing your enemies is the way to deal with differences of opinion.

Trump is trying to find every excuse in the book to get out of his debate with Kamala Harris! He was scared back in the end of July, when he initially pulled out because it wasn't Biden, and of course he wanted to do it on Fox (what, Russia Today didn't have any free time on their schedule?). Now it's about whether his mic is muted or not, because his own people don't trust him not to be a complete asshole while Kamala's talking, and lie so much that Kamala fact checks him while he's talking. So as you can tell, it's a lot of work!

You would expect the king of the gods to have a pretty massive ego, but even by that standard, Zeus is a real piece of work. He swallowed his first wife, Metis, whole.
