Ganim Loses Bid For Public Campaign Money

HARTFORD - The State Elections Enforcement Commission on Wednesday formally voted to deny convicted felon and Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim public funding if he runs for governor. Joshua Foley, a spokesman for the commission, said members voted unanimously to affirm a draft ruling that Ganim is not eligible for campaign money from the Citizen’s Election Program.
