Caleb Carr was a volunteer firefighter and on a path to medical school when his focus switched to solving the problem that led to a friend’s death during a search-and-rescue training mission. The 28-year-old is now CEO of Vita Inclinata Technologies, a quickly growing startup that designs and produces devices to stabilize loads hoisted by helicopters and cranes.
