A wintry mix of slippery precipitation might work its way into southwest Wisconsin Wednesday afternoon and into the Milwaukee area Wednesday evening. If the light freezing rain and light sleet arrives, it could last overnight in the Milwaukee area and the freezing rain could continue into Thursday morning, according to the forecast from WTMJ-TV (Channel 4) meteorologist Craig Koplien. Though the forecast indicates a chance for light precipitation, the National Weather Service notes that it would not take much to cause hazardous travel conditions.
