Stories Related to Freezing Rain Possible Today For Vancouver Area

Freezing rain is possible in the Vancouver area today, with the most likely recipients being Cascade Park, Fisher’s Landing and other areas east of Interstate 205 and near the Columbia River Gorge. It was 34 degrees at Pearson Field in Vancouver this morning, lessening the threat to the west part of town. The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a winter weather advisory for the metro area that is in effect until 10 p.m.
