Baseball is America's past time.That is the cliché anyway.Trouble is, for a lot of folks, baseball passes away too much time.Nine-inning games can last too darn long.Batters step out of the box to adjust their gloves, their helmets and who knows what else.Pitchers look in to the catcher, look again and again, and then decide the ball itself isn't up to snuff.
