JEANERETTE The Jeanerette men arrested during a recent crackdown on sagging pants have been removed from the criminal court circuit in lieu of a pre-trial program, leaving unanswered the question of whether the offenders would be punished as criminals in court. Jeanerette Police cited five men in July and August for breaking a city ordinance that makes it unlawful for any person to be in a state of nudity or partial nudity, or any mode of dress which results in indecent exposure of his or her personal undergarments.
