Unlike the GOP convention in Cleveland, where the ACLU sued to shrink the security perimeter so protesters’ voices “could be heard,” there were no such concern in Philly about protests being heard because they were kept far away.

Your example is correct. In 100-200 days means that it will happen no sooner than 100 days from now and no later than 200 days. Within 100-200 days means it could happen any time between now and 200 days, but most likely fall between the 100th and 200th day. Within. before (a period of time) has elapsed: within a week.

I mean: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; can be abbreviated as Su, Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr, Sa? Is this the common form? Note that I have also seen Sn for Sunday, and some times St for Saturday (but I think less frequently).
