Maine State Police say there is no sign of foul play in the death of a man whose body was found at a Durham rest area Tuesday morning. Alan Kelley, 43, is from Durham but most recently was living in a Lewiston homeless shelter. He was estranged from his wife and children, who live about five miles away from where he was found. Police say Kelley had a hypodermic needle in his clothing and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is conducting toxicology tests before ruling on the cause of death, police said.
