Jonathan A. Rogers, who worked for almost two decades as an editor, reporter and restaurant reviewer for The Florida Times-Union, died Wednesday morning when he was hit by a car as he walked across Beach Boulevard. Mr. Rogers was 77. Beach Boulevard was shut down from its Atlantic Boulevard intersection east to Camden Avenue as traffic homicide investigators investigated the scene. Rogers was headed to open up a storefront for a 7 a.m.
