According to her three-page arrest warrant, a Saks Off 5th loss prevention officer reported to police in May 2016 that Davis completed $6,024 in fraudulent transactions with an unknown man at the Stamford store a few days earlier and the purchases were caught on video tape. The affidavit said prior to the sales, six failed credit card approvals were attempted, indicating multiple likely stolen or canceled credit cards were attempted to have charges put upon them.
