Morrison, 46, who had been arrested in June by Darien police and slapped with a felony charge of violating a judge's protective order and harassing his wife and fellow newscaster Ashley Morrison, said he was thankful after he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of breach of peace before Judge Erika Tindill. Morrison's defense attorney Frank DiScala praised Assistant State's Attorney Nancy Dolinsky, who nolled the harassment and protective order charges and agreed to the breach of peace plea. According to the arrest affidavit, Ashley Morrison showed up at Darien police headquarters over Memorial Day weekend "physically shaking" and "in a very fragile state" to report that her husband had been repeatedly violating the protective order issued by a Stamford Superior Court judge in 2013.
