Former Airport Inspector Charged In $5 Million Kickback Scheme, One Of Area's Largest

A former supervisor and inspector for the agency that runs Detroit Metropolitan Airport was charged May 23 with money laundering, bribery, conspiracy and obstruction of justice in an alleged $5 million scheme in kickbacks from contractors.Federal prosecutors say the case involving James Warner is one of the largest bribery cases in Michigan's Eastern District.
