Forecasters were monitoring a disturbance off the coast of Africa that could become a short-lived tropical depression, while what was once Hurricane Leslie dissipated in the Atlantic. The National Hurricane Center issued its final advisory for Leslie at 11 a.m. Saturday morning when it degenerated into a trough about 975 miles west-southwest of the Azores. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure a couple hundred miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands is becoming better defined.
