Temperatures are expected to steady climb to above average digits throughout the week after a chilly New Year's weekend, metereologists say. The National Weather Service in Pueblo predicted a high of 39 degrees on Tuesday, 46 degrees Wednesday and 50 degrees Thursday. Temperatures will stay in the low 50s riding into the weekend, about 10 degrees higher than the 42 degree average high for the month of January. "Every day this week we get warmer-- We'll be back to the 50s by the end of the week and nearing the 60s for a few spots by Saturday," said Gazette news partner KKTV.
