Food Bag Robbers Fled Down Train Tracks In Stamford

STAMFORD-Police are still looking for two gunmen who robbed the well-known Food Bag on Hope Street early Friday morning and escaped by walking 2.5 miles down the railroad tracks to East Main Street. Sgt. Robert Shawinsky said just after midnight on Thursday during a lull in the usually busy gas station and convenience store, two men wearing ski masks walked into the gas station with guns pulled and demanded cash. Investigators have obtained video of the two from the store, but because the two were so covered up, it is difficult to identify them.
