Saturday Night Live will celebrate its 50th Anniversary next year, and there will surely be a bevy of famous faces showing up this Fall and next year to pat themselves and the show on the back. It's easy to be cynical about this, considering the dismal state of SNL in the past decade, and just as easy to forget how iconic the show once was.

While some directors and critics believe that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the harbinger of the endtimes for "cinema," one actor disagrees, believing that the MCU is the reason people still watch movies in theaters. Tim Blake Nelson, who returns to the MCU for Captain America: Brave New World, first appeared as Samuel Sterns/The Leader in The Incredible Hulk in 2008.

Known for playing the brash and sarcastic Ash Williams in the Evil Dead franchise, Bruce Campbell has never been one to dance around an opinion, even when it comes to the beloved horror franchise created by Sam Raimi back in 1981. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Campbell was asked what the future holds for Evil Dead, and as usual, he didnt hold back.

Actor Sebastian Stan is promising a much lighter Bucky Barnes than the one MCU fans saw in the character's Winter Soldier era. While appearing at the San Diego Comic Con to promote his appearance in Marvel's Thunderbolts*, Stan said he felt Bucky had "nine lives," with his ability to reinvent himself, with the one-time evil assassin now in a "fun" place.

Jon Watts had a clear vision for his upcoming action comedy Wolfs: George Clooney and Brad Pitt as its leading men. Written and directed by Watts, Wolfs follows the story of two professional fixers, Jack (Clooney) and Nick (Pitt) who are forced to team up. Watts recently told Empire that he conceived the film with Clooney and Pitt specifically in mind as the film's stars due to their (according to the publication) "calm, cool, and collected personalities." Referencing George Clooney's 2007 legal thriller Michael Clayton, Watts said:
