The National Weather Service issued a red flag warning spanning from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for nearly all of southern and eastern Colorado, including El Paso and Teller counties. Colorado Springs is forecast to hit a high temperature of 72 degrees on Monday - roughly 10 degrees above normal for this time of the year. Winds from the west should range from 15 to 20 mph, and gusts could hit 35 mph during the afternoon.
