Fire In Phantom Canyon Of Fremont County Started By Lightning; Crews Gaining Upper Hand

Lightning started the Natty fire in the Phantom Canyon area of Fremont County, which nearly doubled in size overnight to 60 acres, the National Interagency Fire Center reported Saturday morning. Crews attacking it on the ground and by air worked throughout the night to get the upper hand before it could threaten structures and increased containment to 30 percent, Bureau of Land Management officials said.
