SALEM, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say it took several hours to control a feed plant fire in northern New York. Local media report that a fire started early Monday morning at the Cargill facility in Salem, near the Vermont border. The facility provides feed for farm animals. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
