A woman was hospitalized Friday evening after a shooting on Interstate 595 in Davie, a fire rescue official said.
Davie Fire Rescue responded to an area of I-595 westbound, east of Hiatus Road shortly before 8 p.m. for reports of a shooting, Fire Marshal Robert Taylor said Friday night.
The woman was taken to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale as a trauma alert, Taylor said.
