The long road toward the end of one of Macomb County's biggest infrastructure emergencies ever is in sight. Final restoration work on the 15 Mile Road sinkhole repair is scheduled to begin next Monday, April 23, though it may be delayed by weather concerns.According to the Macomb County Office of Public Works, the bulk of the restoration work remaining from the Christmas Eve 2016 sewer collapse will be the milling and resurfacing of the asphalt surface at the intersection of 15 Mile Road and Utica Road.
