Fifa Overturns Soccer Elections In Morocco

ZURICH (AP) — FIFA has overturned soccer election results in Morocco, the country that will host next month's Club World Cup. FIFA says its emergency committee refused to recognize the Moroccan Football Association elections held Sunday, which sought to install Fouzi Lekjaa as president and ended with ill-tempered clashes at a news conference. FIFA says it acted because Morocco's federation "had not fulfilled its duty to comply with FIFA directives.Read more on NewsOK.com
