Under a sizzling sun Sunday, Macomb County residents in two local communities sweated out the final day of weekend festivals centering on ethnic heritage and lakeside fun.Organizers of AquaFest in St. Clair Shores, and the Polish-American Festival and Festa Italiana, both in Sterling Heights, said the 90-degree heat coupled with drenching humidity likely impacted attendance at the height of the summer season.
