Convicted briber and conspirator Dean Reynolds wants to be released from prison while awaiting sentencing, claiming he needs cancer surgery and time to devote to his sick mother.But federal prosecutors contend in a legal brief filed Wednesday that Reynolds failed to provide corroboration of his cancer and is a risk to flee the area "as he stares at (sentencing) guidelines calling for a double-decade prison sentence.
