STAMFORD-City police on Wednesday identified the female pedestrian struck and killed by a van on Elm Street while walking to work Tuesday morning as Fairfield resident Lynette Wagner, 59. Sgt. Andrew Gallagher declined to discuss specifics of the case that involve a 38-year-old Stamford man, who was driving the 2016 Dodge Ram van that struck Wagner as he was turning west on North State Street at 7:09 a.m.
